HATHASPACE HSP001 PRICE

Unless you are reading this from Asia, there is a good chance that you haven’t heard of Hathaspace. This company, like many of the new air purifier talent, hails from China. China has an alarmingly dangerous air quality index. We can also find many Chinese sellers for air purifiers on Amazon.

The company has only one product for air purifiers, which is a shame considering its popularity in the U.S. market. Hathaspace’s air purifier is exactly what we expected for a budget device. It will feature as many stages as advertised in the air filtration system, but at a lower price. This air purifier can be purchased for $150 on the official website or you can get it at a discounted price with a Breathe Quality deal.

Although the latest Hathaspace selection shares some similarities to the Winix C535 or AeraMax 200, we still can clearly see the differences in design. The multiple-stage air purifier can be purchased in the same price range as the Airthereal APH260 and InvisiClean Aura. The Medify MA-18, which does not have a UV-C filter, is a great option to our current air purifier.

It appears that most of the major points have been covered. But, to see if the Hathaspace purifier can compete, let’s take a closer look at its “quite singular” appearance.

HATHASPACE HSP001 DESIGN & SIZE

The Hathaspace air purifier’s appearance should not be a surprise to those who are familiar with the most recent generation. Although it is not the top-end device in the “premium” category, its build quality is good enough to avoid feeling bulky.

Hathaspace took a conservative approach to the design of this purifier. It is a typical top-to-bottom air flow system. The stylish front plate will draw in polluted air, followed by the multi-stage air filter system and finally, the top outlet. It’s simple, but it is very useful.

A colored LED display is also available to provide information about the status and performance of the purifier. There are also two buttons below the screen. The control panel placement is an issue for many people, especially since Hathaspace’s air purifier is only a fan-shaped device. This design was also created for the Winix WAC9500. As you can see, the Korean company has to change the location of buttons for later generations like Winix 5300-2 and Winix 5500-2.

Multi-stage air purifiers are not new. A traditional marketing strategy for budget devices is to show off as many stages as possible to clean the air. This strategy is commonly used on popular models like InvisiClean Aura and SilverOnyx. Hathaspace purifiers are a rare example of an air purifier that has many “actually” physical filters. To have strong air filtration, you will need to choose a Winix or Coway device.

The flow of air around your Hathaspace purifier will be similar to an air purifier that has a front plate covering the air intake. The Nano Cold Catalyst filter from Hathaspace is more than a pre-filter. It can remove certain chemicals thanks to the thin carbon paper layer inside. This air purifier also has two layers of physical filters: an anti-microbial and a common cell carbon filter. The True HEPA filter, which is the main power of the Hathaspace purifier, can be combined with the other three physical filters to achieve a removal efficiency of up to 99.97% on ultra-fine particles.

Hathaspace used to have the UV-C filter. However, Hathaspace HSP001 has now been completely stripped of it. This makes the device very similar to Hathaspace HSP002.

All air purifiers with low fan power have one advantage: they produce a very low level of noise. The real world requires that we use an air purifier to improve our sleeping quality. A loud fan can keep us up all night.

The noise level of Hathaspace’s air purifier is very low at 18 decibels (db), which makes it even quieter than rustling leaves. The lowest setting of the Hathaspace air purifier will not make any noise, so it is recommended to keep the Hathaspace at a low speed.

This air purifier runs at 43 decibels, which is the same noise level as the lowest setting on other expensive purifiers. This noise level corresponds to the noise level in a library. You can only hear the device turning on.

HATHASPACE HSP001 Power Consumption

The most common question we get is “Do air purifiers consume a lot of energy?” To be effective, an air purifier should be used for a long period of time. To determine if an air purifier is reliable, it is important to consider power consumption.

Hathaspace has set the price for this air purifier at $150. This is the price range most air purifier manufacturers will use to increase their air purifiers’ performance.

The Hathaspace Smart True HEPA Purifier (HSP001), continues to be a popular budget model on Amazon. There are more positive reviews. The 5-stage air purifying system is very effective and affordable. Its air quality sensor enables you to identify indoor air quality in real-time. The same is true for fan speed.

The fan power is very weak and this device should not be used as an additional personal air purifier in your bedroom.

From my honest hathaspace air purifier review, you can see that it’s not the best air purifier. However, I can still call it a great air purifier with a decent pre filter. It can help you get rid of airborne pollutants, volatile organic compounds, dust mites so that you can enjoy clean air at your home.
